On Wednesday, Oct 23rd, 2024, Gentiva staff honored those who had passed in the last six months with hospice. It is a time to reflect and reminisce about the loved ones who have passed. Green Valley Baptist Church, once again, so graciously opened its doors to our hospice and the families attending. Thank you!

Today, we presented Lacee Isabal, RN case manager, with a Touchstone award. Lacee has been with Gentiva for over two years and has touched so many lives. On Tuesday evening, the staff from Gentiva Hospice's Green Valley, Marana, and Tucson branches had the opportunity to celebrate the year thus far with our teams' accomplishments. They also made new friends and peer connections between the Gentiva and Heartland Hospices teams.

At the July Volunteer Meeting, our Executive Director, Karen Gecht, provided a luncheon for the volunteers. They were honored for their dedication and the time they provided for the hospice patients and team. Not only did the volunteers reach the required amount of hours, but they also set a new record! The Green Valley branch was presented the GOAT award for this outstanding achievement. Thank you, Gentiva volunteers! What you mean to the team and the families we serve is hard to put into words. Please know we appreciate you so very much!
