Senior Leader Spotlight – Sonia Valles, Life Enrichment Coordinator
Sonia began her journey at Arroyo Gardens in January 2017 in our dietary department. Eager to grow her skills and expand her impact, she completed the caregiver certification program and transitioned into our care services department.
When the opportunity to become Life Enrichment Coordinator became available, Sonia stepped up once again—further expanding her skill set and commitment to our residents. Upon accepting the role, she immediately began the process of becoming a Certified Activity Director, demonstrating how seriously she takes her position.
Since stepping into her role, Sonia has made meaningful strides in enhancing our life enrichment programs. She listens closely to resident requests and feedback and works hard each day to make thoughtful improvements that enrich their quality of life.
Sonia’s dedication doesn’t stop with our residents. She also does an incredible job supporting our employees by coordinating a monthly calendar filled with morale-boosting events that help keep our team engaged and appreciated.
We are truly grateful for the passion, dedication, and hard work Sonia brings to Arroyo Gardens every day.
