🏀 Sport Session Fun Today! 🎯

Today’s Sport Session was full of energy, laughter, and great movement! Residents enjoyed a friendly game of Co****le, working on hand-eye coordination and balance, followed by seated Dodgeball, which was a big hit and a fantastic way to challenge our reflexes and reaction time in a safe, engaging way. These activities not only get our bodies moving, but also encourage focus, social connection, and lots of smiles along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and staying active together! 💙

🎉 First Bingo of the year is officially in the books! 🎉

As we said goodbye to 2025 and welcomed a brand-new year, our community celebrated in the most joyful and meaningful way 💫

We kicked off the celebration by getting creative—preparing festive noise makers and crafting homemade fortune cookies filled with wise and heartfelt quotes written by our very own residents. Each message was a beautiful reminder that wisdom only deepens with time. The celebration continued as we danced and sang the day away to Elvis favorites with our dear friend Dorcy, filling the room with laughter, movement, and plenty of smiles. Music truly has a way of bringing generations together and lighting up the soul.
We closed out the celebration with our last sport session of the tear, followed by a toast and a special moment of reflection, sharing our New Year’s resolutions and hopes for the year ahead. Here’s to fresh beginnings, meaningful moments, and a new year filled with SPARK ✨

🎄Our Last Bingo of the Year Was a Hit!
Today we celebrated our final Bingo of the year with festive charcuterie cups—a fun and delicious treat our residents loved! A big thank-you to Jason from Harmony Hospice for their contribution in making the perfect charcuterie cups and helping with drinks during Bingo, to give our resident that V.I.P. treatment they deserve.
✨🎄The afternoon was made even more special with great prizes, beautifully decorated tables by our Event Committee, and our residents’ handcrafted Christmas SPARK centerpieces filling the room with the scents of rosemary, peppermint, and pine. 🌿✨

🎄 Season of Giving at Canyon Valley Memory Care 🎄

The true spirit of Christmas was beautifully felt at Canyon Valley Memory Care as our residents helped distribute Christmas gifts to every resident, spreading joy, kindness, and heartfelt smiles throughout our community. With the generous support of our local churches, no one was forgotten, and every gift was given with love.
It was incredibly meaningful to see our residents take part in giving to one another — a reminder that purpose, compassion, and connection are alive at every stage of life. The partnership with our local churches, Baptist, Catholic and Lutheran, made this moment even more special, showing the power of community coming together to lift hearts during the holiday season.

We are so grateful for the generosity, time, and love shared with us. Moments like these remind us that Christmas isn’t about what’s under the tree, but about the love we share with one another. ❤️🎁
