Happy Black History Month! 🤎📖 In honor of the importance of this month, we are celebrating our clinicians of color whose presence and hard work inspire so many. You empower us each and everyday, and we thank you for all that you do! 🌟

Black History Month isn’t just about celebrating the contributions people of color have made to shape history, but also about inspiring change for the future. Here are some affirmations to remember:

• No policy, politician, or system will ever define our worth.
• They can ban books but they can’t erase the truth, and the truth will be honored and celebrated boldly.
• We are not a quota or checkbox. We belong wherever we decide to be.
• We refuse to let fear silence us.

It’s totally April and spring is here!!! With a new month comes a new team member spotlight!!! Our April spotlight goes to our amazing clinician, Tiera!

Tiera graduated from Howard University’s School of Social work in 2013 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Tiera is clinically licensed in both Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Tiera has a history of working with both families and individuals and enjoys working with the adolescent and adult populations! Tiera is located at our Greenbelt location and sees clients virtually!
