As I unlocked my office door January, 2000, I felt a strong pain in my side. Within an hour, I was in so much pain, I went home thinking I had the flu. I had a low grade fever and thought bed rest would be the best thing. By Saturday evening, I was taken to the emergency room where the tests began. My white blood count was not elevated, so my appendix was fine
.....or that is what the emergency room doctors thought. My Father-in-law, a retired doctor, was in my hospital room Sunday. He took one look at me and said it was my appendix, but it took two more days of testing before my doctor said it was my appendix. By this time, my appendix had ruptured and I was one sick girl. It was also discovered during all these tests that I had gallstones, but the surgeon only removed my appendix. I later discovered that he was leaving on a ski trip with his family that night and did not have time to remove my gallbladder. I ran fever for over a month after the surgery and felt terrible. When I went back to my doctor for my checkup, he did not even remember my name. He also was very unconcerned about my gallbladder and told me I would know when it was time to have it removed because I would be in a lot of pain. Well, my feelings were so hurt that he didn't know my name, so I went home and started searching for a way NOT to see him again. In my mind, I knew people passed kidney stones, so why couldn't I pass my gallstones? I read that peppermint oil helped gallstones, so I ordered that and started taking drops of peppermint oil in water. One day, I discovered a website call Curezone. It was brand new, but there was a lot of information about Dr. Hulda Clark. She had written several books about natural health and so much of what she had written was just about returning to basics.........cooking from scratch, hanging your clothes out to dry instead of using a clothes dryer. Basically, the way our grandparents lived. But, she had a simple recipe for removing gallstones and I could not wait to see if it worked.......and it did! She also wrote a lot about parasites and I became so interested in what she had to say. Her simple cleanse for parasites worked, too. Sadly, we lost Dr. Clark a few years ago, but she lived a very long and fruitful life and I believe her passion for healing will go on through the lives she has touched. I do have a strong belief in doctors and you better know that if I get sick, I will be in a doctor's hands. But, I also believe that God gives you a brain to use in what we eat and how we live. Sadly, we eat too much of the wrong things and do not get enough exercise. Fourteen years later, I am still on my quest for natural healing. I have discovered that the more I learn, the more I need to learn. I also owe a lot to the webmaster at Curezone.com. Thank you, Dusan Stojkovic, a friend and a mentor for many years.
