✨Meet Dana Fugate, FNP-BC!✨
Dana will start seeing patients on Monday, April 6th. She boasts over 20 years of experience in a range of nursing roles, including critical care, emergency departments, and geriatric care. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in correctional facilities, family practice, pediatrics, hospice, and geriatrics, and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Dana continues to work in Correctional Medicine, providing primary care services to incarcerated individuals. She also maintains a presence in hospice, conducting recertification assessments as part of ongoing end-of-life care. Her approach to care is characterized by compassion and a commitment to empowering patients and their families. Dana Fugate adopts a patient-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are in their health journey and encouraging them to take an active role in their healthcare decisions.
As a local resident, Dana is dedicated to serving her community. She is a proud parent to two children, Jacob and Laney. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and listening to crime podcasts or shows. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with her three dogs, Merle, Tillie, and Nora, and her cat, Dale.
