Full disclosure: the possible side effects from this product may include some gastrointestinal upset. This is a part of how the probiotic will work. Two things going on . . . a battle between good and bad bacteria is happening, and also as the bacteria produces butyrate which stimulates the release of GLP-1 and thus the side effects (just like the drug). This actually means the supplement is doing what it's supposed to do. Taking one every other day may cut down on the side effects and make it more tolerable if you do experience this side effect.
