For twenty five years, ASC has been a place where meaningful connections, compassionate care, and unforgettable moments shape every day. To celebrate this milestone, we asked our residents and team members to finish the phrase “ASC is…” and share the first thing that comes to mind.

Congratulations Luanne Walker, CNA, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Luanne has dedicated the past 17 years of her career as a valued member of the team, having filled multiple roles throughout her time here.

Luanne chooses to continue her career with Hickory Creek at Sunset because she enjoys the one-on-one time with our residents. She also values the close relationships she builds with residents, their families, and her coworkers. Her kindness and heart for caregiving truly impacts their lives in a positive way.

Luanne exceeds all expectations and truly encompasses the CARE values in everything she does. She is a role model for newer CNAs, and her coworkers describe her as an amazing advocate for the residents. She is also known as a true team player, helping anywhere she may be needed and without being asked. She always has a smile and a laugh to share, regardless of the situation. Her amazing positive spirit is always on display.

Outside of work, Luanne loves spending time with her family. She has been happily married to the love of her life for 26 years. She has three children and is prepping to become a grandma this December. With Luanne being described by colleagues as attentive, an advocate, and very loving, she is going to be an amazing grandma! Congratulations Luanne, you are most deserving of this award!

This Halloween, Hickory Creek Sunset celebrated in true Toy Story style! From fun games and themed photo ops to tasty treats and colorful mocktails, everyone got to enjoy a day filled with smiles and joy. The festivities wrapped up with a hilarious staff gallop race that had everyone cheering!
