✨ Let’s Talk Pressure… because deeper doesn’t always mean better 😉 ✨
One of the biggest misconceptions in massage is that more pressure = better results… and I’m here to lovingly bust that myth 💅
There are different types of pressure, and each one has a purpose:
🤍 Light Pressure
Think relaxation mode. This calms your nervous system, helps you unwind, and gently gets your body ready to receive deeper work if needed.
🤍 Medium Pressure
The perfect balance 🙌 You’ll feel muscle work happening, but your body stays relaxed and comfortable.
🤍 Firm Pressure
More intensity, more depth—but still controlled. This is for clients who like to feel the work without their body tensing up.
🤍 Focused/Deep Work (not just “hard pressure”)
This is where I target specific areas that need attention. ✨ And here’s the key… it’s not about pushing harder, it’s about working smarter and allowing the muscle to release. Meaning I melt the tissues to get to the deeper layers.
⸻
🚨 So how do you know if pressure is TOO much?
Your body will tell you—every single time:
❌ You’re holding your breath
❌ Your muscles are tightening or guarding
❌ You feel sharp, shooting, or “get me off the table” pain
❌ You’re mentally trying to “push through it”
👉 That’s NOT productive pressure… that’s your body going into protection mode.
⸻
✅ Good pressure feels like:
✔️ A “hurts so good” feeling
✔️ You can still breathe deeply
✔️ Your body stays relaxed
✔️ You feel release—not tension
⸻
💬 Here’s your permission slip:
You are ALWAYS allowed to speak up during your session.
Massage is not something you “tough out”—it’s something your body should benefit from.
⸻
✨ Every session with me is customized to YOU—your comfort, your needs, and what your body is asking for that day.
So whether you love light, medium, firm, or focused work… we’ll find your perfect balance together 🤍
