The Tibetan singing bowl is used as a type of bell to help with healing and meditation. When used they vibrate and produce a relaxing harmonic tone to create sound by gently rubbing the mallet/ wooden stick in a circular motion against the singing bowl's rim. There are many amazing healing benefits of Tibetan singing bowls that make them so effective by promoting relaxation as well as offering powerful healing properties.
