Please help us welcome our newest instructor, Ashley, to The Barefoot Haven! We're so happy to have her on our schedule.

She will be teaching a L1/2 Vinyasa Flow at 5:30pm on Wednesdays starting next week, February 4. Her first class will be FREE! (You will still need to register for class.)

Here's a little bit about her:
Ashley started practicing yoga in 2016 to help recover from the burnout she experienced early in her nursing career. The Barefoot Haven was her first home studio, it was where she was able to get out of her head and tune into her body. She found the powerful connection between breath and movement in classes taught by Jenny. It didn't take long for her to feel the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a regular asana practice. She waited several years before enrolling in a yoga teacher training program. In 2025 Ashley, with much encouragement from Jenny, completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Tosa Yoga Center.
Her goal is to create a supportive environment where people can connect to their breath and body through movement, to experience the benefits of yoga both on and off the mat.

Step into a deeply restorative healing experience—one that honors stillness, breath, and the body’s innate wisdom. This 105-minute workshop blends restorative yoga, conscious breathing, guided meditation, and therapeutic dry needling and/or cupping to support deep release, relief, and renewal.

Led by yoga instructor Jody Friedenberger and physical therapist Dr. Lindsay Rush of Beyond Physical Therapy, this collaborative experience gently bridges mindful rest with targeted physical care. As you settle into fully supported restorative postures, you’ll be guided through calming breathwork and meditation, creating space for the nervous system to soften and the body to receive Dry Needling and Cupping techniques targeted to address trigger points, improve circulation, and encourage deeper muscular release.
