What is a PSS?
First things first, you do NOT need to be certified to come work for us. A PSS is a Personal Support Specialist. These compassionate, honest, caring individuals provide care to clients in their homes across the state. They assist with non-medical personal care, including but not limited to, dressing, mobility, meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping.
Who can be a PSS?
Anyone 17+ can apply to become a PSS! All prospective employees must pass a background check. Once complete, we will provide you with an orientation and training to get your PSS certificate if not already certified. The best part? Once you're certified, you have it for life! No renewal necessary.
