Get to Know Dr. Hamilton:
After 6 years of honorable service in the US Navy, Dr. Hamilton completed his BS in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso before completing a professional degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He went on to complete his master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies with specialization in Orthopedic surgery from the University of Nebraska. He served patients in orthopedic surgery and emergency medicine in Tennessee for 10 years. Dr. Hamilton completed his MD at Quillen College of Medicine in 2013. After internship in general surgery, he successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Disease, both at ETSU. Dr. Hamilton has been an integral part of the Greeneville community while serving as a hospitalist at GCH East for the past 4 years. The Hamilton family have been east Tennessee residents for almost 14 years. When he is not seeing patients in the hospital or his clinic, Dr Hamilton enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife of 30 years, his 2 grown daughters, and the family dogs.

For the past 3 months we have been offering a comprehensive weight management program and we are excited about the positive results! DMID WILL BE CLOSED THIS WEEK due to the lack of water in Greene County. Our office will be reaching out to reschedule appointments or arrange for telemedicine where appropriate.

We will also be monitoring voicemail as best we can to meet our patients’ needs.
