EXCITING UPDATE FOR SMDC!!! We officially have a new space in the East Knoxville area! We recently purchased a property where will begin to expand our programs and services. We have been praying for over a year that God would lead us to the right space to continue the ministry of the Smoky Mountain Dream Center. We were specifically praying for 3 things, location, price and room to grow! God answered each one...He is so faithful!
What will our new space accommodate??
1. Our new building will be the home of East Side Market, where we will service families with food weekly, instead of monthly. We will be able start providing fresh food, like meats and produce instead of just shelf stable items.
2. EncourageHer is our women's program that brings support and resources to those affected by poverty, abuse, addiction and incarceration. We will expand our services to multiple times per week now instead of 1 evening class.

We do have some work to do on the building to update it and get it ready for the people we serve. If you or your church is interested in coming, let us know and we'll keep you updated on projects that are available to help with.
