CVS is misleading you with their new tv commercials
CVS Health says this bill would “force the closure of your local pharmacy.” That is simply not true.
The bill does ONE thing: it stops a company from being both a pharmacy and a PBM in Tennessee. You can’t control the system and profit from it at the same time. That’s a conflict of interest.
If CVS closes stores, it will be because they chose to keep their PBM business — not because Tennessee forced them to shut down pharmacies.
For years, vertically integrated PBMs have squeezed independent community pharmacies out of business. This bill is about fairness, transparency, and protecting patient choice.
Don’t let a national corporation scare you with a commercial. Look at the facts.
