Yesterday our residents turned exercise into a celebration with a lively game of bowling. Flourish Memory Care celebrated National Dress Your Pet Day with a heartwarming visit to the Greenfield Animal Shelter, and our hearts are still full. 💕

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, bringing animals out for our residents to visit with, pet, and enjoy up close. They were patient and supportive as we navigated the shelter and spent special moments with each furry friend. The joy, smiles, and gentle connections made the day truly unforgettable.

Our residents gathered for a cozy, purpose‑driven Mixology Drink Bar session and crafted their very own winter‑themed beverages. Each cup was a burst of flavor, choice, and creativity.

Hydration with purpose – A daily “Drink Bar” offers sugar‑free lemonade, unsweetened tea, or water as bases, infused with fresh fruit, herbs, and Monin® syrups to keep residents hydrated while preventing flavor fatigue.

This January opens like a fresh canvas brushed with possibility as we welcome a new year filled with creativity, curiosity, and lighthearted joy.

Our theme, Playology: The Art of Fun, celebrates the truth that play is something we carry throughout life. It strengthens our minds, nurtures our spirits, and connects us in beautifully meaningful ways.

This month, we are embracing play in a whole new way by exploring it through the many National Fun Days woven throughout January. With a full calendar of themed celebrations and creative moments, residents will have countless opportunities to jump in, explore freely, and enjoy the simple delight of play.

Together, we step into the new year with a joyful mindset that invites exploration, connection, and creative expression. Here is to a January filled with wonder, connection, and the beautiful art of play.
