Congratulations to our owner and LMT on becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through Klose Training! What is MLD? It is a lighter pressure technique used in different situations (such as cancer treatment, lymphedema diagnosis, or post surgical) to help the lymphatic system in functioning faster to remove damaged cells in the body or waste products from the body and help reduce swelling. Everyone can benefit from MLD, but some medical situations need medical team approval before MLD can be performed. If you have any questions about MLD or massage in general, feel free to reach out to us!
