Supporting patients also means supporting the families who are often the caregivers. Caregiver education, resource connections, and emotional support are all part of our discharge planning to ensure the patient’s loved ones feel confident and equipped every step of the way.

Martha’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact caregivers make every day. After her husband suffered a traumatic brain injury, her plans for an advanced degree and writing career changed overnight. She stepped into a full-time caregiver role, learning to navigate doctor’s appointments, therapy sessions, and life’s unexpected challenges. Out of her experience, Martha founded Caregiver Coffees, local support groups that now meet across Louisiana, offering guidance, encouragement, and a warm cup of coffee.

We’re honored that Caregiver Coffees in Shreveport partners with one of our sister hospitals, Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital, to provide resources and communities for caregivers.

We’re so thankful for this heartfelt review from Mary, who shared her experience with us:

“Maddie was encouraging and always had a positive upbeat attitude from day one. I believe that her skill, knowledge and compassion made my progress possible. I couldn't have done it without her!

I want to also acknowledge Nicole. Her kind and positive encouragement made the progress that I made at Milwaukee Rehabilitation Hospital possible.

A big thank you to both!”

We’re so proud of our dedicated team who brings this level of care and compassion to every patient, every day.

Exciting news! Jennifer Burton, Vizient National Account Rep, and Casey Savage, Vizient Senior Implementation Advisor, presented the Impact Standardization Program Executive Savings Award to Anna Araiza, Nobis Corporate Director of Supply Chain.

Anna is an industry supply chain leader with expertise in negotiating, contracting, and planning. She has successfully led numerous hospital openings and managed supply chain teams. As one of the original leaders, she has been with Nobis since the company's inception.

The Vizient Impact Standardization Program financially rewards member hospitals for reducing product variation and standardizing their supply chain.
