Julie, our new Activity Assistant, brought along a very special guest this week. Her son, Grant, spent time with our residents sharing his musical talents on the piano and guitar.

Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together. Familiar songs spark memories, lift spirits, and create moments of connection that everyone in the room can enjoy. Grant’s performance filled the space with energy and smiles, and residents loved singing along and tapping their feet to the music.

Students from Edgewood Elementary School recently set an incredible goal: making 1,000 sandwiches in just one hour to support those in need. The effort came after a month-long class project focused on empathy and helping others.

During the feature, Loretta shared about the meaningful visits students make to spend time with our residents at Complete Care Southpointe. These visits have become something our residents truly look forward to, bringing laughter, conversation, and connections between generations.

We are so proud to see these students recognized for their compassion and community spirit. Thank you for continuing to brighten our residents’ days.

Strong partnerships help create stronger outcomes for the seniors we serve.

Recently, members of our social work team from Complete Care - Southpointe connected with the leadership team at Harbour Village to continue building the relationship between our communities.

Located just a mile apart on Loomis Road, our teams have built a strong working relationship focused on supporting residents as their care needs change. Being so close allows us to stay connected, communicate easily, and work together to ensure individuals receive the right care at the right time. It is a partnership rooted in trust and a shared commitment to providing the highest level of support for the seniors in our community.

Over the past two years, this partnership has continued to grow through shared expectations for high quality care, open communication, and mutual trust. When care teams collaborate like this, residents and families experience smoother transitions and stronger support every step of the way.
