Congratulations to Marvin, an employment services client, on receiving an achievement award at Taste of Milwaukee last week! This year marks his 25 year anniversary working at Marquette University. Throughout his time at Marquette, Marvin has shown immense dedication to growing and going above and beyond to put a smile on the faces of everyone he interacts with.

The Taste of Milwaukee silent auction is now open! You can start bidding here: https://tasteofmke.wedoauctions.com/auction

You don’t have to attend Taste of Milwaukee to place a bid, but the item will have to be picked up at the Broadscope office in Greenfield. The auction will close on March 5 at 8:00 pm, the night of Taste of Milwaukee.

The silent auction features items from Greige Patisserie, Indulgence Chocolatiers, Marcus Theatres, the Brewers, Lakefront Brewery, Florentine Opera, Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, the Ambassador Hotel, and Summerfest.

All proceeds benefit Broadscope Disability Services in their mission to increase opportunities and empower individuals with disabilities and their families.

Last week the Independent Living Program hosted their Happpy Healthy Hearts event. Clients learned about ways to keep their hearts healthy, through food, exercise, and mindfulness.

We are celebrating love this week because Valentine’s Day is on Saturday. At Broadscope we LOVE accessibility. Check out some photos of accessibility at .center. Ramps, braille, and buttons to open doors are just a few ways that building is accessible. That’s why we LOVE hosting at the Marcus Performing Arts Center.

With Valentine’s Day on Saturday, Broadscope is celebrating love this week. One thing that we LOVE is this amazing mural by in our office. It brightens the office so much. We love having art the Broadscope clients and staff were able to help make together.
