🚶‍♀️ NEW Walk-In Care Available at Turners Falls!

Starting January 12, CHCFC patients can access walk-in sick visit appointments at our Burnham Street location in Turners Falls—available 5 days a week.(Mon-Fri) Patients from all CHCFC sites are welcome to use this service when appropriate.

🕗 Walk-In Hours:
7:40 am – 11:00 am
➡️ Patients must arrive before 11:00 am to be eligible.
➡️ As this is a walk-in service, wait times may apply.

👩‍⚕️ Providers:
Walk-in availability is currently offered by Lindsey Pelc, FNP and Elyssa Williams, FNP

✅ Appropriate for sick visits such as:
• Cough, cold, or flu symptoms
• Ear infections, pink eye, allergies
• Tick/bug bites or stings
• UTI's or yeast infections
• Minor rashes, acne, poison ivy, ringworm
• Minor injuries, cuts, burns, sprains
• Pregnancy tests, BP checks, STD checks
• Mouth or oral pain
• Suture removal

❌ Not appropriate for walk-ins:
• Chest pain
• Severe shortness of breath or abdominal pain
• Chronic or long-standing issues
• Routine physicals, paperwork, or chronic disease management

🚗 Workers’ Comp or Motor Vehicle Accident visits may be seen only if all claim information is available at check-in, including insurance and adjuster details.

📍 Location: 8 Burnham Street, Turners Falls

The Community Health Center of Franklin County is hosting walk-in hours for assistance from our Navigators with community-based eligibility and enrollment assistance to uninsured and Health Connector members of Massachusetts. If you would like to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about health and dental insurance options that fit your needs, our team is here to help you understand the enrollment process before the Open Enrollment period ends on January 23rd.

If you need a new plan or just have questions, please feel free to stop by CHCFC at 102 Main St. in Greenfield January 20th, 2026 between 1-6pm. Our Navigators will be in the lower level of the building in Conference Room A.

Dr. Hamdan brings extensive experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
