Well, here we are. Rate cuts and requirements for someone other than the patient to participate in therapy as well as a cap on medically necessary services.

1. The cost survey that was completed should stand and there shouldn’t be any reduction to rates.
2. Requirements for someone other than the patient to participate in treatment is ILLEGAL. You wouldn’t tell someone else receiving medically necessary services that they can’t access treatment unless their parent participates in treatment.
3. Research demonstrates that you receive the most efficacy from treatment with a MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF 35-40 HOURS PER WEEK OF TREATMENT. This comes out to a MINIMUM of 5,460 HOURS OF TREATMENT.. Obviously more than the proposed 4,000.

Make your voices heard that there shouldn’t be ANY cuts to ABA!!!
