There are many steps you can take to lower your blood pressure. It's important to work together with your health care provider to set your blood pressure goal – the reading you'd like to consistently see when your blood pressure is taken – and how you can best reach it. The American Heart Association recommends home blood pressure monitoring for anyone diagnosed with high blood pressure, people starting or changing high blood pressure treatment, and people who need closer monitoring!

Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Greater Regional Health focuses on improving the independence and confidence of children in daily activities. Alannah Olson creates personalized treatment sessions by engaging children with exercises, games, or instructed play to work toward OT goals. Alannah also has specialized training in infant massage and pediatric yoga.
