The Halloween parade in Greenfield is always a highlight for me. I look forward to seeing the streets filled with kids in creative costumes and sharing treats with them. This year, I was excited to join the parade as a school board candidate. But when the McClain Varsity Lady Tigers clinched their first-ever district soccer championship and earned a spot at regionals, my plans changed. While campaigning is important, I feel it is more important to support the student-athletes I hope to serve. I will be cheering on these incredible athletes because they have truly earned our community’s support. GO TIGERS
