🚨The West Milwaukee area has seen an increase in opioid overdoses over the weekend. Be safe, carry Narcan, and never use alone! The overdoses we are referring to received Narcan prior to EMS arrival, likely saving their lives!

It's the end of the season! A big thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, donor, and visitors. This season could not have been possible without you all. The garden is now closed for the season. Last evening, we refreshed the garden soil with over 1,000 lbs of new soil! That's a lot! But we got it done. The garden will return next spring. Until next time!

🚨 Flu season is here! Come visit us tomorrow, Thursday, October 24 at the Southwest Suburban Health Department- Greenfield Location (7325 W Forest Home Ave) from 1 - 4 p.m. for our Community Vaccine Clinic.

👉 The Southwest Suburban Health Department recommends everyone ages 6 months and older to get a flu vaccine. For more information visit our website at www.westalliswi.gov/flu.

❤️ Join us at the West Allis Senior Center on Friday, October 18th from 12 - 4 p.m. for a Health Fair! It is going to be bigger and better than ever! We will be offering flu shots, free health screenings, and sneak peaks of everything the Senior Center has to offer! This event is open to people of all ages and it is bound to be a blast.
