I began my training in Massage therapy at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health while in residence there in 1990. I have been practicing for the last 15 years while raising my two children. I returned to school to continue my education and graduated from the StillPoint School of Massage at Greenfield Community College in June of 2006, thus completing a total of 1000 hours of training. My practice

is based in Swedish Massage with complementary modalities including Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Polarity-Energy Balancing, and Reflexology. My work is grounded in a solid knowledge of anatomy, myology (the study of muscles), kinesiology (the study of movement), and pathology. I see massage as a valuable mutual relationship where both the giver and the receiver are involved in a process greater than the sum of the "two".
