My Social Media Is My Art 🌈✨

idk what's happening lately but I've been kinda obsessed with being alive again lol ☺️(jk ik, thank you follicular phase🫶🏻) everything feels magical again.

I'm going to enjoy it✨

maybe it's the intuition work, but I'll be doing the most normal, human sh*t~drinking water, putzing around the house, listening to an Activation and suddenly I'm like "oh I'm a soul in a body. this is all temporary and still somehow the most beautiful thing ever🌈🥹✨"

it's a soft clarity.
when you remember: you're the magic. 🪄
you're the Universe in human form.
you're the main character in a timeline you chose. 🤍

“i’m not rejecting you. i’m choosing me.”
and honestly? that’s a sentence that can change your whole damn life when you finally mean it. 🐝

so many of us grew up thinking that pulling back meant we were being cold, dramatic, or mean.
we were taught to prioritize keeping the peace, even if it meant abandoning our own.
to swallow our ‘no.’
to stay quiet.
to hold everything together so no one would call us difficult.

but choosing yourself is not rejection ~ it’s repair.
it’s what happens when your nervous system is tired of being on high alert.
when your intuition is done whispering and starts screaming.
when you finally realize that self-abandonment is the real heartbreak.

and here’s the thing:
you’re allowed to choose yourself without apologizing.
you’re allowed to walk away from dynamics that drain you.
you’re allowed to step back from people who only love the version of you that doesn’t advocate for herself.

you’re allowed to protect your peace like it’s sacred ~ because IT IS.

and if someone interprets your boundary as rejection,
it’s because your self-respect disrupts the access they used to have.

so if you needed the reminder today:

you are not the villain for choosing you.
you are not wrong for prioritizing your well-being.
you are not “too much” for wanting a life that feels good in your body.

this chapter is about self-devotion.
about choosing the you who is healing.
the you who isn’t abandoning herself anymore.
the you who’s learning that choosing yourself isn’t rejection ~
it’s alignment.

and you deserve that.

there's old versions of me who didn't think I could be a teacher of anything 🤍 and that's why they got left behind.

I started Reiki Teacher training under this scorpio new moon 🌑 a sacred beginning on a night made for rebirth. it feels like the Universe saying,“you don’t have to be who you were. you’re allowed to grow into someone you never expected.” I cannot wait to teach my own Reiki babies one day and help people learn to heal themselves. 🫶🏻layu all so much 🥹

Prepping all the cozy citrus goodness for WIW… and trust me, you’ll feel this warmth the second you walk in. 🔥🍊

Drying these out keeps the house smelling ✨DIVINE✨ and so so warm (you have to leave the oven door open)

Across so many cultures, oranges have been used as offerings, gifts, blessings, and symbols of warmth + good fortune:

🍊 In ancient China:

Oranges (and other citrus) were given as New Year gifts to invite prosperity, luck, and a smooth year ahead.

The word for “orange” is a homophone for wealth, so homes were decorated with them for good fortune.

🍊 In the Mediterranean:

Citrus groves were seen as sacred spaces, tied to sun gods + fertility goddesses.

Brides were offered oranges or orange blossoms as blessings for love, fertility, and abundance.

🍊 In European folk magic:

Dried citrus peels were placed in kitchens + windowsills for protection and to keep negative spirits out.

Simmering oranges with spices was a hearth ritual meant to purify the home and welcome guests with warmth.

🍊 In American folk practices + hoodoo traditions:

Orange peel has been used for road opening, clearing stale energy, and calling in opportunities.

It’s often used in floor washes or simmer pots for renewal and emotional cleansing.

So when you’re tossing dried oranges into a simmer pot… you’re literally tapping into centuries of hearth magic + sun energy.

🦂 SCORPIO NEW MOON • COMING SOON 🦂

this new moon in scorpio peaks November 20 at approx 1:47AM EST but the energy is alreadyyyyy calling you out.

this lunation brings major transformation, but it starts with letting go of what’s been weighing you down.

as we move toward the New Moon, you’re being nudged to confront your past, acknowledge your real feelings, and get honest about what’s actually aligned for you.

there are two things you might start noticing:
