Our inner niñitas want to take up SPACE!

I love how my own offerings will always take me through the fire before I hold space for others.

Since receiving this download while I was in Thailand — to bring forth the theme "Take Up Mo' F'ing Space" — the universe has been testing me left and right, like, "Soooo... you gonna take up space or nah?!"

You bet your 🍑I did. LOL 😂

But it was uncomfortable. There were tears. I had to shed a little more of those old identities that were handed to me.

You know the ones:
😇The good immigrant child — "She's a joy to have in class, so quiet, so helpful."

🤓The overachiever — master's degree and counting.
^ps nothing wrong w/ this except when it becomes a mask for, “maybe this will make me good enough.” 💔

🙃The people pleaser — saying no always came with a side of guilt fries.

They’ve always known that a woman embodied in her ancestor’s prayers is a woman they cannot control.

My favorite post of ALL TIME!!

You didn’t think I would celebrate my 40th with my elephant friends and not post about it did ya?! 🤪

If you have been around here long enough you know that when I’m in nature I don’t just simply observe. I commune with the trees, speak with the birds, pray with the elephants, vibe the F out with elements. I’m THAT witch!

My mom has the gift of prophetic dreams. She can see what I’m walking through before I do. Lately, I have been more in tune with this gift as well.

About a week ago, I had the same dream 3 different nights.

This isn’t about shame but grounded awareness!

I remember growing up watching my mom serve everyone at the table and she would eat last.

As I got older, I recall literally fighting with her because I was trying to get her to stop doing that but little did I know, it was an ancestral wound passed down long before I arrived.

Slowly but surely we have been healing this imprint not through shame, force or guilt but by slowing down long enough to listen to our bodies.

Till this day, I have to often practice, asking my body “are we over extending or does this feel within my range?”
