Residents enjoyed getting their hands dirty during our first garden club of the season! What a beautiful day to prep our raised beds by doing some well needed weeding, and planting flower seeds 🌼 Next, we will be starting our vegetable garden! 🍅 🥒
Elizabeth from our rehab department helped us get started on this beautiful spring day. We look forward to working together on our garden next month.

Our residents were thrilled to welcome back Quogue Wildlife Refuge for another exceptional program, Meet the Animals. The informative and captivating presenter, Jake, enlightened us about the local wildlife native to Long Island. He brought an owl, turtle, possum, and hawk for us to observe and interact with.

The residents had fun dying eggs to enjoy with their breakfast on Easter morning 🪺 we are so thankful for our food service director Jeannie, she is always ready to help out. Teamwork makes the dream work!

We hope you enjoyed St. Patrick’s day as much as we did! ☘️
Residents and staff celebrated with a “pub crawl down the hall” featuring a tattoo shop, snack stand offering irish soda bread, lucky charm rice crispy treats, & green pudding, a coffee shop with irish coffee, a pub serving root beer floats, and a kiss me I’m Irish stand serving Hershey kisses. All while a local volunteer seronated all with crowd favorites 🎶

In honor of upcoming National Oreo Cookie Day, our residents participated in a taste test! They tried the Original Oreos, Double Stuffed Golden Oreos, Peanut Butter Oreos and Birthday Cake Oreos.

To our surprise, their overall favorite was the Original Oreo!
