Located in Greenport, New York on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, The North Fork Yoga Shala is the new home of Claire Copersino, who has been sharing her signature style of eclectic, alignment-based vinyasa yoga on the east end for 13+ years. Drawing from almost 20 years of experience studying with a wide variety of extraordinary teachers, as well as a daily steeping in her own practice, Claire has developed her own unique, refreshing, and inspiring blend of the sweat and vigor of vinyasa yoga with the grounding containment of more alignment based lineages to serve up a practice that lends itself to the unexpected and wrings-out and purifies body, mind and spirit, leaving her yogi’s light, bright and ready to move forward in a more heart-centered perspective. For Claire it is such an awesome privilege to share this practice with the beautiful community of yogi’s who practice with her.

Dominica is known as the nature island of the Caribbean with a river for every day of the year, abundant waterfalls, hot springs throughout the island, the second largest boiling lake in the world, tertiary rainforest and the highest peak in this part of the Caribbean, creating their own weather systems. The island is teeming with extraordinary wildlife, birds and stellar diving for those that are into Scuba diving. The hiking is second to none.
