Did you know that allergy shots can CURE your environmental allergies?

👉 Helps allergies get better for a long time — Even after you stop treatment, your body can stay less allergic for years.
👉 Trains your immune system to calm down — It helps your body stop overreacting to things like pollen, dust, or pets.
👉 Teaches your body to “ignore” allergens — It makes special immune cells (called regulatory cells) that tell the body not to attack harmless things.
👉 Makes helpful antibodies — These new antibodies block the “bad” ones that cause sneezing, itching, and swelling.
👉 Shifts your immune balance — It helps your body respond in a more normal way instead of with strong allergic reactions.
👉 Can stop allergies from getting worse — It may keep problems like hay fever from turning into asthma.
👉 Reduces allergic reactions — It calms the cells that cause symptoms like runny nose, itchy eyes, or wheezing.
👉 Can treat environmental allergies, allergic asthma, and eczema!

They are a long-term commitment - especially when you first start - but they eventually space out to once a month after the first 4-6 months of treatment. National guidelines recommend continuing shots for 3-5 years for the maximum benefit!

Patch testing is a simple, safe way to find out if your skin is allergic to specific substances — like metals, fragrances, preservatives, or ingredients in soaps and cosmetics. It’s used to diagnose contact dermatitis, which is a skin reaction that develops gradually after repeated exposure to an allergen.

During the test, small patches containing potential allergens are taped to your back. You’ll wear them for two days, then return to have them removed and your skin checked. You’ll come back two more days after that for a final check. The whole process takes about a week.
