Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to indulge in some self care and these ideas will help you create little moments throughout the day to pause and enjoy your own company.

DRINK YO WATER

The number one self-care habit you should form is to stay hydrated! (and use sunscreen, and eat leafy greens, etc…). Treat yourself like your at a spa and upgrade your bottle with infused waters.

EASE INTO THE DAY

Nothing is better for a gentle mind-body connection than some light yoga a or full-body stretch routine. YouTube university has plenty of 10-30 min stretch sequences for optimal health and wellness on this beautiful day.

TRY A NEW LOOK

You’re hydrated, you’re awake, you’re ready to experiment with a new look! A new hairstyle or lipstick shade is an easy way to shake up your routine. I personally have been playing with lip color combos and it’s giving L I F E, every. single. time!

Just having flowers at home can boost your mood. I love snagging seasonal $4 mini bouquet from Trader Joe’s as a pick-me-up! Plant Mami loves her some Trader Joe’s plants 🪴 I found a z**i plant for $7.99 today and my heart is full 💗

You all know how much I love a therapeutic bath! There’s no better way for aromatherapy and warming up- especially with some of you coming out of the polar vortex. Light the candles, pour the wine, grab a book or a cozy Netflix movie, & n a m a s t e!
