Dear sisters,
I’m looking forward to coming together this Friday for our breathwork circle. ✨
If you haven’t been to a breathwork session, this post will give you an idea of what to expect.
I will begin by sharing that, through a daily Kriya practice (yogic breathwork and mantra), my body and mind have found an anchor from which they can make more discerning decisions and express with ease. Breath, as a tool for healing and expansion, is thousands of years old, rooted in ancient cultures and teachings, and many people have benefited from the powerful yet simple act of deepening their experience of the breath.
You can enjoy the benefits of this practice whether you have a long history with it or are completely new.
This season, we will combine high-intensity breath with long, deep, and slow breathing. Both will be approached with full awareness and surrender. The intensity of your experience can be dialed down or increased by choice, so you remain in control throughout.
We will begin with a brief grounding opening.
We will then move into a warm-up for the body, brain, and mind, followed by the breathwork practice.
At closing, you will have ample space to integrate slowly. Grounding practices will guide you back into a more analytical, left-brain state, and sharing circle and tea will complete the evening.
This work is powerful in creating emotional release, invigorating the body, and cultivating a state of physical and emotional awareness and intelligence. Creativity, sensuality, and empathy naturally expand.
