Grief Tending in Community
Tending to grief collectively gives us something many of us never received in our hardest moments: permission.
Permission to feel.
Permission to not hold it all together.
When grief is tended to in community, it reminds us that heavy, complex, confusing emotions are human, natural, and safe.
Coming together to tend grief lifts the burden of navigating it alone. It dissolves the loneliness that so often tries to convince us we’re the only ones who feel this way.
That’s why we’re offering a limited number of spaces to gather, breathe, remember, and express whatever is present. Sometimes sadness arrives wearing the mask of anger. Sometimes rage is simply a request to be seen. Sometimes, after the storm, there is unexpected stillness and deep gratitude. It all belongs.
You don’t need to be grieving something specific.
You don’t need to be in the right emotional place.
You don’t even need to dance.
If you feel called to be in a shared space of safety, permission, and gentle practices that help you move, listen, and be held by the flow of your own life force, then come be with us on Thursday, the 18th.
