🎉 Thank you, Rockingham County NC! 🎉 On Sept. 27, the Cone Health Center for Health Equity brought its Building a Better You event to Rockingham Community College for the first time—connecting 135 attendees with health screenings, wellness resources, and fun activities like line dancing and face painting.

💚 With support from 40+ community partners and multiple Cone Health team members, we saw a 12% increase in screenings compared to earlier events this year.

This signature event for the Center for Health Equity is part of our journey through CATCH 5 in 5—Collaborative Actions Toward Improving Community Health.

📅 Stay tuned for the 2026 season as we continue working to close the life expectancy gap by five years in five years.
