It is such a privilege for me to work with my son, Quinton, and to work with an agency that is all about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. There were plenty of seniors in the formative years of my life who took care of me, guided me, supported me, and influenced the decisions I made. Serving other seniors at this point in my life makes me feel that I am finally giving something back in return for all that was poured into me. The seniors we serve poured into their own families and loved ones. They deserve the best that we can provide, and that is what our Amada Agency is all about – finding and sending caring, compassionate, and capable caregivers into homes and facilities around the area to care for those who need assistance with daily activities.

As the VP of Senior Care Operations, I lead our efforts with payroll, invoicing, Long Term Care Claims management, vendor relations, and oversee all HR and operations functions. In my spare time, I especially enjoy spending time with family while watching my grandkids play in their multiple sports activities. I like finding time to take road trips, quiet walks, eat out, read a good book, and maybe put a puzzle together on a rainy day.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Chanler Truesdale, RN 🌟

Meet Chanler Truesdale, our incredible Director of Nursing at Amada Senior Care! 💙

Chanler’s journey into healthcare was inspired by her own experience as a caregiver for her grandmother. Chanler started her career in finance and accounting within the healthcare IT industry, but gave that up when her grandmother became ill and she stepped in as the primary caregiver. Realizing her true passion was caring for others, she made the bold decision to leave corporate America and pursue nursing—dedicating herself to providing the same level of compassion she gave to her grandmother. ❤️

With 12+ years of clinical experience across skilled nursing facilities, inpatient hospital units, outpatient oncology, and home health care, Chanler brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to geriatric care and dementia support. She is always learning, researching, and expanding her expertise to better serve our patients and their families.

Outside of work, Chanler cherishes time with her husband and their 3-year-old daughter. 🏡💕

Amada Greensboro is excited to announce that Heather Sweeney has joined our leadership team in the role of Director of Business Development. Heather is a trusted advisor in our local senior living community, and is admired for her hands-on, consultative approach to guiding families on their senior living journeys.

Heather’s passion for caring for seniors was inspired by her relationship with her own grandmother. The wisdom and history she imparted to Heather had a significant impact on her, and she was naturally the very first loved-one that Heather had the privilege to serve. Five years ago Heather had the opportunity to turn her passion for serving into a career by taking on a business role at a Senior Living community in Winston-Salem. She thrived there which led to an opportunity to head up local marketing efforts at multiple properties in the Triad for one of the leading Senior Living brands for the past 3 years. Possessing practical experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care environments, Heather leverages her robust network of relationships with experts in senior housing and long-term care, to equip seniors and their families to realize the quality of life and care that they deserve. Colleagues say that Heather’s authentic and compassionate style are inspiring to everyone she comes into contact with.

Heather lives in High Point with her husband and their two boys (11,9) who love to visit with seniors just as much as she does. "When I am not working," Heather says, "I love reading, being with my family, and doing anything that can be done outdoors….and live music!" Welcome to Amada Senior Care, Heather. Meet Samantha Erwin, our incredible Staffing Administrator at Amada! Since joining us in July 2023, Samantha has been a vital part of our team, ensuring successful matches are made for our clients and caregivers. She also is currently leading our efforts in recruiting and hiring all care team members. Her colleagues on our Leadership team say that "Samantha is one of the most versatile team players and strongest individual performers we have ever worked with."

With nearly two decades of experience as a CNA, Samantha has dedicated her career to caring for others. Her passion for working with seniors—especially those living with various types of dementia—drives her every day.

Outside of work, you'll find her enjoying sports and watching survival shows.
