People are just trying to make it through the day through these tough times. We are able to help over 30 households each time

Today, Guilford County Board of Commissioners Chair Melvin “Skip” Alston, County Manager Victor Isler, Social Services Director Sharon Barlow, Second Harvest Food Bank CEO Eric Aft, and Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan, came together to share important updates on how the federal government shutdown is impacting our residents.

Together, they launched the new One Guilford: Support Our Pantries Plan. Through this initiative, Guilford County and our community partners will work together to “Fill the Gap” and ensure every resident has access to the food they need.
