Glaucoma is a leading cause of vision loss and blindness in the United States. But as many as half of people with glaucoma don’t know they have it.

Glaucoma has no early symptoms. The only way to check for it is to get a comprehensive dilated eye exam. There’s no cure for glaucoma, but starting treatment as early as possible can help stop vision loss.

Did you know? Getting less than 7 hours of sleep a day can affect your blood sugar.

Ready to catch some Zzz's? Here are some tips to improve your sleep hygiene:
• Create a cool, dark sleep environment.
• Power down electronics at least an hour before bed.
• Get regular exercise, but avoid strenuous workouts close to bedtime.
• Develop a relaxing bedtime routine, like taking a bath or reading a book.
• Stick to a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends.

Triad Care is looking to add seasonal biometric screeners to our team. Our biometric screeners perform basic point of care testing to assess health status for our program participants. Measurements include blood pressure readings, BMI and body fat analysis, and lab results from a finger stick blood sample. Biometric screenings are held onsite at our clients’ locations. Weekday (typically morning) availability is required.

A medical background is required and may include any of the following certifications: CNA, CMA, RMA, CPhT.
