Guilford Counseling, PLLC Individual, family, and group therapy services First, let me introduce myself...my name is Jennifer Cobb and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

I have been working with individuals and families in the mental health field since 1999 and opened my private practice in 2011. At Guilford Counseling, PLLC, I am dedicated to providing effective, evidence-based therapies in an accepting, compassionate environment. My goal is to work with you to help you let go of your struggle with depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, or symptoms of trauma, i

n order to move toward a more full and meaningful life. As part of our work together, we will create an idea of what a fulfilling life looks like for you and explore how to get there. My approach emphasizes the combination of acceptance and mindfulness practices with a focus on concrete behavioral change. As therapy is a financial investment, I believe it is important to focus on treatment approaches that have been shown to work. My areas of specialization include the treatment of depression, trauma symptoms, anxiety disorders and parenting concerns. However, if you just feel like you are at a place in your life that could be better...happier, less stressed, enjoying life's activities more, going in a different direction, making some changes...then please give me a call. I see individuals aged 6 and older for individual therapy. I also see families wishing to address relationship, behavior, or discipline issues. Finally, I offer therapy groups, particularly for those wishing to gain specific skills for parenting or skills to use in their efforts to overcome anxiety.

Claudia is passionate about helping high achievers, overthinkers, people pleasers, and those who always put themselves last. She specializes in trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, and grief.
