HEALTHY TIP! Create your own magic!
Habits take time to form—66 days on average. That’s why we focus on developing healthy microHabits first. A microHabit is a small, repeatable behavior that’s so simple it can always be completed—regardless of your willpower, discipline, or motivation.
So, focus on building a simple microHabit that can positively impact your health in the long run, and as you continue your journey, you can take this lesson and apply it to every new Habit of Health. Identify the habit, and then break it down into an accessible microHabit.
Some ideas:
Take 100 extra steps today. Walk around your house or down to the end of the block when you get home, or park farther from the door when you go somewhere.
OR
Drink an extra 8 oz of water today. Aim for 64-100 oz of water every day. Swap one non-water drink, with water.
It all adds up!
The program I coach has tons of tips and suggestions for creating and building new habits like this - all broken down into small, easy, not-stressful parts...so that you can implement them into your life. So running a 5k might seem like a big goal, but break it down into walking for 5 minutes and jogging for 1 minute today...then add on to that every day. You'll build on those small microHabits and your big goals and dreams will become reality - plus you start to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! I'd love to share more with you - DM me and let's talk!
