Hello dear families, campers, and volunteers. We wanted to reach out in regards to camp!

We are all in uncharted territory now as we attempt to make plans in a time when so much is uncertain. What we do know for know is that we still have all intentions of launching Camp Leap In 2020! We continue to plan amazing activities for camp!! Continue to check our FB page for updates as we move forward. We wish you all the best and remember, as we are socially distancing we can still enjoy nature’s best sensory playground.

Camp LEAP IN families-

There is still an opportunity for the local I Can Bike program.

There are 7 spaces for riders and they are looking for at least 10 more volunteers. Session are 8:30-9:45, 10:05-11:20, 2:00-3:15 and 3:35-4:50. Campers register for the same 75 minute session for all 5 days of camp, August 12-16, at the Field House of the Greensboro Coliseum (where the Swarm basketball team plays).
Campers need to be 8 and older (7 1/2 is ok), have any disability, be independently ambulatory and able to side step, and willing to wear a helmet :) Volunteers need to be 14.5 or older and able to jog or run for most of their session. Volunteers will get service learning hours :)

Camp is $185 but we do have scholarship options if the applicant inquires. Campers need to have their own bike by the end of camp, and not just any bike will do. We have guides on which types are better and a partnership with Trek Bicycles in Greensboro to fit a proper bike.
