Dr. Preston and Laura Dantoni are the proud owners of Gate City Health with the mission to encourage, educate, and empower this community to experience maximum health. Dr. Preston Dantoni graduated with his bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida, received his Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, and continued his training at the Scoliosis Correction C
linic in Celebration, FL. Having performed thousands of adjustments and provided dozens of workshops, Dr. Preston has extensive experience and advanced certifications in spinal correction, exercise, and nutrition. Laura Dantoni L.Ac., Clinic Director of Gate City Health, graduated from Florida College of Integrative Medicine with her bachelors in Professional Health Studies and masters degree in Oriental Medicine. Her focus is on restoring health by repairing the vascular system through acupuncture. Dr. Preston and Laura met at church in Ormond Beach, FL in 2010 and were married on March 2, 2012. After understanding the principle of chiropractic, Dr. Preston quickly decided he wanted to share it with others. Laura discovered the power of acupuncture during his first year of schooling and began her journey towards understanding whole-body health. Just over a year into their marriage, Dr. Preston, seemingly out of nowhere, had emergency brain surgery to remove a life-threatening tumor after being helicoptered to the hospital. He experienced severe memory loss, cognitive and emotional issues, and went through chiropractic intensive care while getting acupuncture treatments multiple times a week to help his recovery. The improvement and healing process was incredible! This experience was nothing short of a miracle. Having struggled through this health crises together, they understand how easy it is to lose hope and not see the light at the end of the tunnel. The sense of accomplishment, gratitude, and redemption they experienced is what they believe is available and attainable for everyone. This fuels them to dedicate their time and energy to help others experience the same hope and healing they were able to.
