August 17, 2017 a Thursday at UNCG. This was Blaze’s first outing with North Carolina Pet Partners as a registered animal assisted therapy. Blaze, after 15 wonderful years, passed away March 22, 2022. He was our therapy animal at Anomaly Counseling many times, and mine every day.

Today we are celebrating our 𝓌𝑒𝒹𝒹𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒶𝓃𝓃𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓈𝒶𝓇𝓎. 🤵👰

Since that day we said “I do” 2️⃣3️⃣ years ago, we have only spent ONE day apart. 👩‍❤️‍👨 Other than our love for Jesus, we’ve never loved the way we love each other. It is so much greater than we ever 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒅 possible. By God’s perfect design, we have learned what it means to enter covenant through God’s beautiful gift of 𝓗𝓸𝓵𝔂 𝓜𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓶𝓸𝓷𝔂.

God is 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 and He has made it available to every one of His children. But to receive His best, we must learn 𝒉𝒐𝒘 to be the husband & wife He has instructed us to be in His Word. We can testify that it was only when we CHOSE to SUBMIT to His instructions that we began to enjoy 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓋𝑒𝓃 𝑜𝓃 𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉𝒽 in our marriage. 😇

Anomaly is defined as rarity. We believe each client has a God given uniqueness that is there super power. Anomaly is also defined as the angular distance of a planet from its perihelion as seen from the sun. All of us can use help sometimes to find our place as seen from the Son.

Shiya is one of the staff members that is suited for taking clients on a walk. Counseling does not have to always be in a room looking at one another. One’s outlook and mood can change in a session involving movement and interaction with Shiya. It goes without saying, Shiya is also a good listener.
