At Camden Health and Rehabilitation, we’re always looking for ways to grow and better serve our residents. Our team recently took part in a dementia training, and it was such an eye-opening experience!

A heartfelt thank you to Second Wind Dreams featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour for providing this wonderful program and to our amazing SDC Nurse, Atisha Carrillo, for coordinating it. Our staff left feeling encouraged, inspired, and better prepared to support our residents with understanding and compassion! 💙

Our Camden Health and Rehabilitation admin team did some group bonding by completing little puzzles. Towards the end, they realized a few pieces from each puzzle had been mixed up with other puzzles! Teamwork got the job done and fun was had by everyone. 🧩

✨ Honoring Our Resident Educators: Meet Mary Gold ✨

This week at Camden Health and Rehabilitation, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers who have shaped young minds, and today, we’re spotlighting our very own Mary Gold.

When asked what inspired her to become a teacher, Mary shared:

“I just thought that learning was so important. People didn’t have a lot of money for education back then, and I wanted to help children get recognized for how smart they were.”

Mary taught High School English and Junior High English for 3–4 years, leaving a lasting impact on her students.

Her advice for new or aspiring teachers?

“All of the children are inspiring in their own way.”
