Took me a year to get it back but I officially passed the board exam to be a certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD).
I was certified for over 10 years, my cert lapse and it feels good to finally have it back!!!

The FDA is finally banning Red 3! The move comes in response to a 2022 color additive petition filed by CSPI and 23 other organizations and prominent scientists calling on the FDA to fully ban the synthetic food dye.

Red 3 has been banned from use in topical drugs and cosmetics since 1990, when the FDA itself determined that the dye causes cancer when eaten by animals. Because the FDA failed to uphold its legal obligation to ban cancer-causing additives, Red 3 remained permitted in foods, supplements, and oral drugs more than 34 years later.
