Pre-ETS STAR Program
In partnership with Disability:IN North Carolina (DI-NC), ECAC is pleased to offer the STAR program, as part of Vocational Rehabilitation Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), to students with disabilities ages 16-21 beginning in Fall, 2022. The STAR Program will serve students with disabilities from across N.C., including students who attend public schools, charter schools and students who are homeschooled. Join us as STAR core team members will provide an overview of the program--including eligibility criteria and information on how to apply.

Mental Health America of Central Carolinas
Mental Health American of Central Carolinas (MHAOCC) offers curated emotional tool boxes filled with resources for families and caregivers. Through ParentVOICE Family Support Specialists, also known as Family Partners, MHAOCC works closely with families who are navigating the education, child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems. MHAOCC offers one-to-one support by preparing parents for and accompanying them to meetings with schools, service providers, and child and family teams. Family Partners also serve as an educational resource to parents and caregivers seeking ways to improve children’s ability to function successfully at home and in school.

The Family Support Network of Central Carolina (FSNCC), an affiliate of Family Support Network of NC, provides support, education, and caring connections for families of children with disabilities, special health care needs, or who have experienced a NICU stay.
