Mark your calendars: Wednesday, September 17th 6:00 pm @ Lindley Rec. Center
Lindley Park and Sunset Hills Neighborhood Associations will host a City Council Candidate Forum for candidates running for Mayor, District 4 and At-large seats.

Please come meet and learn about these folks and their plans as a City Council Member. Primary Election is October 7, General Election is November 4

Help is needed the night of the event. Please contact Joyce Eury at joyceury@gmail.com if you can help with any of the following:

Set Up at 5:30 pm or Breakdown at 8:30 pm Need 6 people for each
Greeters and Candidate check in ( 3 people)
Attendee sign in table (1-2 people)
Time Keeper (1-2 people)
Volunteer for refreshment table
Volunteer to help with audience questions
Photographer
Misc Help

The rain just keeps coming! Sunday night, during a thunderstorm, a tree fell on the tennis courts and power boxes.
The city has done a wonderful job responding quickly and safely. The power is turned off to the park and it will take time to make all of the repairs. Please keep a safe distance from the area and respect any signage/caution tape. The Rock the Block event will still happen Thursday night. Thank you to that team for being creative and problem solving without having access to power.
