We had such a great day out in the community today! 💙

From visiting with everyone at the Hale County Hospital table at the Greensboro Farmers’ Co-Op to all the fun at the HALO Aesthetics pop up shop at The Partridge Berry, it was a full day of smiling faces and sweet connections.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us. It made for the perfect start to Easter weekend! 🐣✨

A Message from Our CEO/Administrator:

Recently, a flawed report from a progressive organization incorrectly suggested that Hale County Hospital may be at risk of closure. We want to clearly reassure our community, partners, and patients: Hale County Hospital is not facing closure.

While we recognize the broader challenges impacting rural healthcare across the country, our hospital remains operational, stable, and deeply committed to serving the people of Hale County and the surrounding areas.

We continue to actively invest in our services, expand access to care, and strengthen our financial sustainability through strategic planning and community partnerships. Our leadership team closely monitors changes in healthcare policy and reimbursement and proactively adapts to ensure long-term viability.

Reports that categorize hospitals using national-level data models do not always reflect the full, current picture of an individual facility. Hale County Hospital is moving forward with confidence and purpose, including ongoing efforts to enhance and expand our emergency services.

We are proud to be a trusted healthcare provider in this community and remain focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care—today and into the future.

Hale County Disaster Drill – Part 1 📸

Last night our team participated in the Hale County Disaster Drill featuring a plane crash scenario. ✈️🏥🚑

We’re thankful for the opportunity to train alongside EMS, firefighters, law enforcement, and other community partners. Drills like this help ensure we’re ready to respond when our community needs us most.

A big thank you to our amazing hospital staff and all the agencies who participated and helped make it a success! 💜

❄️ Cold Weather Reminder for Our Community ❄️

While the current Winter Weather Advisory is forecasted north of our area, we want our patients and community to stay prepared. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing next week across West Alabama.

Please use extra caution when traveling late Sunday night into early Monday. Any lingering moisture on roadways could freeze and create slick spots.

Remember the 3 P’s during cold weather:
🌱 Plants – Bring them inside or cover them
👨‍👩‍👧 People – Bundle up and check on loved ones
🐾 Pets – Bring them indoors or ensure proper shelter
