The Harvesting Hope: Call to Action for Mental Health convened 125 local and statewide leaders who participated in a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Terri Shelton of Spartan Strategies and featured panelists Walker Sanders (Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro ), Niketa Greene (Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation) and Dr. Derrick Hoover (UnitedHealthcare). Along with remarks sent by Governor Josh Stein and a behind the scenes tour of the new Kellin Foundation Hope Hub, participants had an exciting conversation about how mental health is health, and what it really takes to make integrated mental health care more accessible and more connected.

Join Kellin Kids From Worries to Wonders on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 12–2 PM at Keeley Park’s Playground Shelter.

Today’s Resilient Guilford Network gathering centered on a tough but important topic: preventing human trafficking. Abolition NC joined us to share the work they’re doing in schools and across our community to bring awareness and stop trafficking before it starts.

North Carolina continues to be in the top ten states for reported cases — a reminder that this issue is close to home and something we must face together.
