This time of the year can be difficult for many of us as we might miss someone or holidays as we are used to. It is important to recognize how we feel and attend to our feelings.

1. Recognize all the emotions/feelings you are experiencing.
2. Notice that feelings come and go... we are not our feelings.
3. connect with what you need to help those feelings/emotions that are hurting.
4. Do things that feel nurturing and take care of yourself.

☝️ Nuestras necesidades psicológicas son simples: seguridad / protección, amor / sentido de pertenencia y cariño.
❓ Cuando surja un sentimiento, quédate con él y pregunte ¿Qué es lo que necesita en este momento? ¿Qué le dice su sentimiento sobre sus necesidades?

🌊 Los sentimientos nos brindan información importante sobre nuestras necesidades.
Así como las sensaciones en nuestro cuerpo dirigen nuestra atención y nos guían hacia las necesidades físicas, nuestros sentimientos nos dicen algo sobre nuestras necesidades mentales/emocionales.

🧩 La clave es aprender a ser un observador de nuestro mundo interior, y a veces eso requiere algo de práctica, pero puedes convertirlo en un hábito diario simplemente cerrando los ojos y siguiendo estos pasos:
Si te sientes bien, cierra los ojos, toca ligeramente con la mano el centro de tu pecho. ⁠
❤️ ¿Qué notas allí? ⁠
👉 Lo que sea que surja, déjalo estar y siente el toque de tu mano sobre él.

✅ Como práctica, puedes decidir dedicar un minuto completo cada día para sentir lo que sientes. ⁠Tómate un momento de tranquilidad para simplemente notar y permitir lo que estés sintiendo.

🌊 Feelings provide us with important information about our needs.
Just like sensations in our body direct our attention and guide us towards physical needs, our feelings tell us something about our mental/emotional needs.

🧩 The key is to learn to be an observer of our inner world, and sometimes that takes some practice but you can make it a daily habit by simply closing your eyes and following these steps:

If it feels right, close your eyes, lightly touch your hand to the center of your chest. ⁠
❤️ What do you notice there? ⁠

👉 Whatever comes up, let it be and feel the touch of your hand over it.

✅ As a practice, you may decide to give yourself a full minute each day to feel what you feel. ⁠Take a quiet moment to simply notice and allow whatever you’re feeling.

Finish this mini practice with three full breaths.
