Our team was honored to take part in the Community Disaster Drill last night with local emergency services and healthcare partners. Training like this strengthens coordination between agencies and helps ensure we are ready to care for our community when it matters most.

We appreciate everyone who worked hard to organize this important exercise and all who participated. Preparedness is a vital part of the care we provide every day. Hale County Emergency Management Agency

Land in Hale County was transformed into the site of a mass casualty event, complete with fires, a simulated plane crash, cars struck by debris and “victims” stranded in a lake. It was one of the largest disaster drills the region has seen in years.

An Everbridge Alert was sent out today regarding training exercise.
If you have a missed call from 334 624 9910, please listen to your voicemail or check text message. There is no need to call us back.

FYI-We will send another one out tomorrow.

Parents: as you get ready for holiday travel, make sure you and your loved ones are protected against measles before departure, no matter where you are going.

The best way to protect against measles is with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. The decision to vaccinate is a personal one. Individuals should speak to their healthcare provider on the risks and benefits before receiving a vaccine.
